Reynaers Aluminium strongly focuses on offering sustainable solutions. To do this, we work on three levels of sustainability:

Sustainability on the material level

On the material level, we focus on the advantages of aluminum and our efforts to reduce the environmental impact.

Aluminum has a long lifespan of greater than 60 years; in comparison to wood with a lifespan of 40 years and PVC with only 30 years. Aluminum is endlessly recyclable – requiring only 5% of the initial energy input. Furthermore, our aluminum is an anti-corrosive building material.

Reynaers Aluminium commits to reduce the environmental impact of the aluminum below 4 kg CO2 / kg aluminum through purchasing aluminum with recycled content and low carbon primary aluminum​.

Sustainable on the product level

For the sustainability of our products, we focus on achieving maximum energy efficiency by offering high insulation solutions to suit needs for low energy buildings – both new builds and renovations.

Our extrusion profiles are designed to excel. We can achieve maximal strength with minimal material. Our modular system design to suit specific requirements regarding functionality, glass dimensions, and weights.

We have a wide profile range to suit your building requirements. Also, our products have a smart design to ensure ease of production, replacement, and disassembly.

Sustainability on the building level

Our solutions contribute to sustainable buildings. We help buildings achieve LEED and BREEAM certificates. Furthermore, we are suited for circular buildings because our systems are designed for adjustability and replacement. Reynaers’ products have a long lifespan (> 60 years) and are low maintenance due to the high quality surface treatment of either powder coating or anodization. The aluminum is not affected by UV rays, moisture, corrosion, or rot.
